My first post here, wanted to say thanks in advance for everyone's help. I have a new ms905 mini, when loading things in Maxisys, the edging/border blinks or flashes red, is this normal? -

Not sure I have ms908 but should be basically same, I dont get no red flashing but maybe someone with 905 could chime in, but if everything else is ok I doubt you have means for much concern though. -

Hello I have a 905 since nov 14 Mine functions same as 908. I have no flashing boarder never have. You should contact tech support about your issue -

That sounds like a bad lcd screen or the connector is loose. I would return it to the place you purchased it from and get a new replacement. -

Looks like I fixed it with a simple full erase and reinstalled Maxisys software -

Very interesting, I would have never though that would fix it. I guess it was a software glitch. -

How did you re-install the Maxisys software? The people Ive read that flashed theirs back to stock had to send it back to China to get the diagnostic software re-installed. -

You go to the android settings and do a factory reset. If you choose to erase the sd card, then you will erase all the vehicle data files. I have done this in the past. After the factory reset along with erase sd card you then go to update and download all the vehicle data files again. I don't know what will happen if your subscription expires and you need to re-download your data, will it let you or will you need to buy another year. I don't know, -

If you do this after your subscription expires it will not let you download the vehicle data files. At that point you will need to get a new subscription. The best thing to do is back to tool up from time to time . -

I'm sorry, I did not erase maxisys. I only did a android reset like Dave said and erased all SD data. I am still covered for updates so I was able to download vehicle software again. Hope this helps someone out there.
